About this place
At Fry & Chicken Grill Michael, you can pick at a few fried dishes before finishing with sizzling Napolitan spaghetti. One visitor enjoyed the thick ham cutlet and the choice of sauces, along with a springy shrimp cutlet, then ordered the Napolitan spaghetti to finish. It is an easygoing way to build a meal around fried favourites and drinks.
The fried dishes include Michael’s Croquette, ham cutlet, fried sardines and shrimp cutlet, as well as pork cutlet served with demi-glace. Some shrimp cutlets come with white sauce, so there are different flavours and ingredients to choose from. One customer who took Michael’s Croquettes home bought 10 for the family and returned to buy more later. You can order individual dishes to eat in, or take them home to add to a meal.
Chicken options include Michael’s Salt Karaage, at roughly 50g, and roast chicken made with the restaurant’s original spice blend. A customer who ordered takeaway over several days, including hamburger steak and fried chicken, recalled the steak’s coarse-ground texture and demi-glace, as well as the seasoning on the chicken dishes. The hamburger steak is made with 100% coarsely ground beef, and can be topped with cheese, a fried egg, demi-glace sauce or all three.
For a more substantial finish, there is sizzling Napolitan spaghetti, curry doria or curry rice. If you would rather keep things light, options include curry served with a baguette and small plates such as lightly pickled celery. Lemon sour, beer and wine are also on offer, making it easy to tailor the meal to your appetite and drinking plans.
There is also a happy hour. According to the published information, it runs from 16 to 19 on weekdays and from 14 to 19 at weekends—an option for an early drink with fried dishes. Eat-in and takeaway are both available.
